Purchased continual vacant lots at 2517-21 Woodbrook Avenue, Baltimore, MD 21217. Received approval from Baltimore's Appeals and Zoning.

$1.5M Federal Grant

FY2024 Congressional Direct Spending grant awarded to fund construction of the new facility.

$250K MD General Assembly Award

MD State Senator Antonio Hayes and the 40th District approved $250,000 on May 16, 2023. Executive Director accepted ceremonial check.

Demolition Complete

Demolition of the last vacant building completed December 23, 2021. Site is cleared and ready for construction.

Pre-design drawing completed by Sandra Vicchio & Associates, LLC — a modern, purpose-built community center for Penn-North youth.

Preparing for the New Youth Center

A New Beginning for Baltimore's Youth

Thanks to you, it's happening!

Unified Efforts, Inc., committed to the Penn North community eight years ago to provide structured, substantial out-of-school time programs for the children at no cost to parents. We have kept that commitment.

In doing so, our parents, community leaders, and youth now want UE to build a new youth center to thrive. UE is up to the challenge.

We purchased continual vacant lots, received approval from Baltimore's Appeals and Zoning, received demolition permits, and on Dec. 23, 2021, completed the demolition of the last vacant building.

Now, we need all hands-on deck to fund the construction. UE needs you! Our children are doing their part. Working side by side and keeping "their" community clean, safe, and beautiful.

We are making dreams come true. We are an award-winning nonprofit!
