Life is a Plunge Project - Young Swimmers' Academy

64% of Black children cannot swim.

Drowning is an act of violence - too. When you are experiencing an emergency albeit in open waters and/or swimming pools, and you cannot save yourself - that is a crime against persons. Black youth have a higher risk of drowning compared to their white counterparts. Why is it that 64% of Black children cannot swim? Primarily, mid-century institutionalized racism is a leading contributor. UniFIED Efforts, Inc. Life is a Plunge project will make a difference
