Retired from Johns Hopkins University, a mother, a resident of Baltimore County, and a dedicated community volunteer member.
Wanda G. Best
Wanda Gibson Best is a connector of resources. Wanda is the Executive Director of the Upton Planning Committee. This position allows her to use many skills learned throughout her career. Wanda graduated from South Carolina State University with a BS in Foods and Nutrition an a triple minor in Biology, Chemistry, and Business. Wanda worked for USDA for over twenty years as the program analyst for a five-million-dollar federal food safety and quality program of the US land grant system. She has had a career centered around public health and economics. Wanda has maintained her dietician license for thirty years and continues to practice as a Nutritionist and Dietician.
Logan Endow
Logan Endow graduated from Stanford at age 19 and earned a Masters from the London School of Economics.
A Baltimore Native, Logan has a decade of experience in public health and violence prevention. He’s a COVID responder and previously led the Ebola response in Liberia’s most violent city, going door to door to detect cases and get residents to treatment.
