$1.5M FY2024 CONGRESSIONAL DIRECT SPENDING AWARDED TO UNIFIED EFFORTS, INC.

This historic federal investment will fund the construction and operation of a new out-of-school time youth center in the Penn-North community of West Baltimore — a space where young people can learn, grow, and thrive in safety.

About Our Summer Science Program

UniFIED Efforts has been serving West Baltimore youth since 2013. Our summer programs combine STE(A)M, arts, college visits, and life skills in a safe, structured environment.

Every summer, students explore university campuses, engage in hands-on science activities, and build the confidence they need to dream bigger.

Supplemental Academic Support

Our academic support program pairs students with caring mentors who help them navigate school challenges, improve grades, and build study habits that last a lifetime.

From homework help to college prep, we meet students where they are and help them get where they want to go.

ACADEMIC SUPPORT STUDENT LED PROGRAMS

Meet Rayelle Cato

One of UEI's earliest students (2013). A lover of books and one of our first Creative Writing for High School Students cohort. She is a college graduate working in a field she loves. We do not find students - they find us!

Rayelle was inducted into the National Honor Society at Bard High School Early College Baltimore — recognized for scholarship, service, leadership, and character.

Tayshawn Nathaniel Michael Walker

One of UE's earliest out of school time students. Tay was instrumental in launching UE's first New Career Paths paid internship program. His spirit, energy, and dedication to his community live on in every student we serve.
